The women who walk with Team Catwalk aren’t so different from the women who walk through our door. They are not mannequins. They are not untouched by life. They are women with histories, with challenges and like many of us - with stories they carry quietly.
Women who might not always see themselves as "bride" material - until they realise they don’t have to be.
When you watch Team Catwalk, you aren’t just seeing a dress. You are seeing a reflection. A reminder that beauty doesn’t come from perfection; it comes from resilience. From softness after strength. From choosing to be seen exactly as you are.
Because every dress has had a life before and so has every woman who wears one.
This is where Chapter Two begins.

The Movement: Team Catwalk
It didn’t start as a big idea. It started because we needed visibility.
Working from home with rails of gowns waiting for their next bride, we knew a hanger could never tell the whole story. A dress needs movement. Light. Real women to bring it to life.
So, we asked real women to wear them.
What we didn’t expect was that Team Catwalk would create a movement. Because once these women stepped into the dresses, it stopped being just about showcasing gowns. It became about showing what’s possible. About standing up, being seen, and making space—sometimes after life has tried hard to challenge you.

Beyond the Runway
Team Catwalk is made up of professional, semi-professional, pageant and first-time models.
What matters more than experience, is the journey each woman carries with her. Stories of disability, invisibility, and vulnerability.
We don’t hide those stories. We don’t smooth the edges. We tell them.
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence. Strength. Real women standing in their own light and letting our dresses shine with them.
It is in that space that we connect to our brides.
Showcase
Team Catwalk is built on collaboration, creativity and community.
We are a small-scale, story-led bridal showcase made up of real women, real journeys and preloved gowns brought to life.
Our showcases are designed to feel intimate, engaging and emotionally connected — more like a shared moment than a traditional runway production.
Our Approach
Because Team Catwalk is rooted in community, we approach each event as a collaboration. We don’t operate as a large commercial production, and we don’t bring staging, lighting rigs or technical equipment.
What we bring instead is atmosphere, connection and a showcase that resonates with brides.
We are open to working with venues, wedding fairs and creative suppliers who value inclusivity, storytelling and authentic representation in bridal.
Team
We typically work with a team of Independent models, a professional photographer and talented hair and makeup artists.
Our showcases are styled to work within the space available, often using the venue’s ceremony set-up to create a natural runway — giving brides a chance to see dresses move, sparkle and feel real.
Costs
Where budgets allow, we work on a contribution basis to help cover the time, coordination and creative effort that goes into producing a Team Catwalk showcase. We’re always happy to have an open conversation about what works for everyone involved.
